Offers an ability to approach your individual circumstance with a set of wholistic diagnostic tools. This allows her to address the root cause of an issue rather than just address symptom relief. She accomplishes this with a refined and powerful skill set.
Her manner is gentle, warm and engaging, making you feel at ease, even in the most stressful of times. She listens with focused attention to the complexity of your circumstance and is able to very effectively treat the condition, allowing your system to regain its health.
She has a diverse background allowing her to use multiple techniques to diagnose and treat. She earned her doctorate in chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Vermont, and certificate in Asian Healing Arts and Whole Foods Nutrition and training in Shiatsu and Swedish Massage from Heartwood Institute. She also has extensive training in Applied Kinesiology muscle testing and is a certified Iyengar yoga instructor and Movnat trainer.
She works with people of all ages from newborn to elderly to recover from acute and chronic pain, injuries, joint immobility, poor posture and limited flexibility by re-establishing more efficient movement patterns and improving nervous system function. Treatments include a blend of soft tissue massage, chiropractic adjustments, natural movement therapy and lifestyle and dietary recommendations.
Aside from the degrees and certifications she’s earned, she feels that life experience and integrating her beliefs into her own lifestyle are by far the best teachers, which is why her care is so genuine and intuitive.
The teachings of Weston A. Price, Ayurvedic Medicine and homeopathy strongly influence her dietary and lifestyle recommendations. And she continues to deepen her knowledge by regularly attending seminars focused on the practice of applied kinesiology and other existing and new techniques.
